TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to Express Yourself: Parent Academy ("we," "our," or "us"). By enrolling in our online coaching course for parents of late-talkers (the "Course") or subscribing to our services, you ("you," "your," or "Subscriber") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your registration. 

1. Subscription and Fees 

• Pricing: By signing up, you agree to a recurring subscription fee of $19.39 per week. 

• Billing Cycle: Fees are billed automatically every week on a recurring basis starting from the day you enroll. 

• Payment Processor: All payments are securely processed through Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize us (via Stripe) to automatically charge the weekly fee to your designated payment method. 

2. No Commitment & Cancellation Policy 

• Cancel Anytime: There is no minimum contract or long-term commitment. You can cancel your subscription at any time. 

• How to Cancel: To cancel, you must process the cancellation via your user dashboard, or email us at contact@expressyourselfspeechtherapy.com.au at least 48 hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the subsequent week. 

• Effect of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Course materials until the end of your current paid weekly billing cycle. No further charges will be made, and access will be revoked once that paid period expires. 

3. Refund Policy 

• No Partial Refunds: Because this is a weekly digital subscription with immediate access to coaching resources, we do not offer pro-rated or partial refunds for weeks that have already been billed. 

• Australian Consumer Law: All weekly payments are non-refundable once processed, except where required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or local consumer protection regulations. 

4. Educational and Coaching Disclaimer 

• Not Medical Advice: The information, coaching strategies, and materials provided in this Course are for educational and informational purposes only. 

• No Professional Relationship: This course does not establish a clinical Speech-Language Pathology relationship, medical treatment, or formal diagnosis for your child.

• Consult a Professional: The Course is designed to support parents, but it is not a substitute for individualized evaluation, advice, or treatment from a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or pediatrician. Always consult a medical professional regarding your child’s health and development. 

5. Community Guidelines and Privacy 

• Safe Space: The Academy includes interactive components (such as group coaching, forums, or chat groups) intended to be a safe, supportive space for parents. You agree to treat all members and staff with respect, kindness, and empathy. 

• Strict Member Privacy: To protect the families in our community, you must maintain absolute confidentiality regarding any personal stories, clinical details, names, or videos shared by other members. Sharing, screenshotting, or distributing another member's information outside the group is strictly prohibited. 

• No Self-Promotion: Spamming, advertising external services, or soliciting other members within the community platform is not allowed. 

• Violations: Failure to follow these community and privacy rules will result in immediate removal from the platform and cancellation of your subscription without a refund. 

6. Intellectual Property and Use of Material 

• Limited License: Upon enrollment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Course materials for personal use only. 

• Restrictions: You agree not to copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, share your login details, or exploit any portion of the Course content without our express written permission. 

7. Termination of Access 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Course immediately and without notice if you fail to pay the weekly subscription fee, violate these Terms, or engage in behavior that disrupts the online community or coaching environment. 

8. Limitation of Liability 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Express Yourself: Parent Academy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your participation in the Course or the use of the strategies provided. 

9. Governing Law 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia.
